Purpose The global sale calendar is already a busy one for many international purchasers and the Aushorse Inward Buyer’s Scheme has been designed to encourage investors to participate in Australia’s major sales where we are confident we can supply you with a product that meets your exacting standards. Who should apply? The Scheme is primarily aimed at first-time visitors to Australia’s major sales. Over the past three years many of these purchasers and their agents have returned to Australian shores on numerous occasions to buy additional stock. Who has benefited from the Scheme? Buyers from as far afield as North America, South Africa, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Europe, Ireland and the United Kingdom are among those who have been involved in our International Inward Buyer Scheme – and often, they just can’t wait to return. Many yearlings are purchased to compete overseas; while other international purchasers choose to have their rising stars remain in Australia to take advantage of lucrative prize money and a wonderfully vibrant, fun racing experience at venues such as Flemington and Randwick.
